Privacy Policy

Ramos Admissions ("we", "us") provides university admissions mentorship and academic courses to students and families, primarily in Europe. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ramosadmissions.com, our advertising lead forms, and our booking tools; how we use it; and the rights you have over it.

We are based in the European Union and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Ramos Admissions, established in Spain. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact ramosadmissions@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is needed to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services:

◆Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and country, when you submit a lead form on Google or Meta, book a call through Calendly, or email us.

◆Enquiry details — the student's school year, programs of interest, and anything you choose to tell us about your goals.

◆Booking information — appointment time, time zone, and any notes you add when scheduling.

◆Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the advertisement or search that brought you to us, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).

Once you enrol, we also process academic information (transcripts, test scores, essays, activity lists) that you provide to us for the purpose of mentorship. That processing is governed by your enrolment agreement.

3. How we use it

◆To respond to your enquiry and schedule or conduct an introductory consultation.

◆To recommend and deliver the programs you ask about.

◆To send you information about our programs, if you have asked us to. You can opt out at any time.

◆To measure and improve our website and advertising.

◆To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Legal bases

Under the GDPR, we rely on your consent when you submit a form or accept marketing communications; on performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) when we respond to enquiries and deliver programs; and on our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

5. Cookies, advertising and third-party tools

Our website uses the following third-party services, each of which may set cookies or collect technical data under its own privacy policy:

◆Google Ads and Google tag — to measure conversions from our advertisements and, where you have consented, to show relevant ads. Google privacy policy.

◆Meta Pixel — to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta privacy policy.

◆Calendly — to schedule introductory calls. Calendly privacy policy.

◆Google Fonts — to display typography; your browser requests font files from Google's servers.

◆Exchange-rate data — the currency toggle on our pricing pages requests European Central Bank reference rates from a public API. No personal data is sent with that request; your currency preference is stored only in your browser.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings and Meta Ad Preferences.

6. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the service providers named above, with email and document-storage providers we use to run our business, and where required by law. Providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own data-protection obligations. Some providers are located in the United States; transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry and lead-form data is kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless you enrol. Enrolment records are kept for the duration of the program and as long afterwards as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

8. Students under 18

Most of our students are minors. We collect a minor's personal data only from, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian. Lead forms and consultation bookings should be completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email ramosadmissions@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
